SIMS FAMILY CEMETERY

Edwin Sims Krupp, Jr.

1950 - 2006

Edwin Sims Krupp Jr. (May 20, 1950-June 3, 2006) was the second child born to Katherine Muth Krupp and Edwin Sims Krupp. He was a rambunctious child who had many friends and was always inventive when it came to games and play. In the 1950s, Ed could often be seen in his Davy Crockett coon skin cap riding around the neighborhood on his bicycle. As a young man he was gregarious and very handsome with curly hair, having no trouble getting dates. Ed loved to draw and paint and was a talented guitarist. As an adult he earned his pilot license and flew an advertising plane, among other flight adventures. One time he was even reported as a UFO! Ed also learned the concrete business and was instrumental in bringing his brothers John and Frank Krupp into the business. They formed a company known as North Shore Aggregate, which still exists today. He was charming and intelligent which garnered him many friends and opportunities. He had a rascally sense of humor, loved a good joke and fun times with his friends. Unfortunately, Ed sometimes struggled with substance abuse.

Ed was one of a kind, beloved by family and friends.
